Many participants receive SIL in a regular home. Some participants receive SIL within an SDA dwelling. Your goals, functional needs, and assessments guide the right mix for a safe and confident life.
Who will be in my support team, and how are workers matched to my needs?
Your team may include support workers, a coordinator, community nurses, and allied health partners. We match based on skills, checks, location, language, culture, and schedule fit. Your preferences drive the final roster.
We set clear shift briefs and communication lines, so everyone understands your goals. If a match does not work, we act quickly and offer alternatives. You stay in control. You can request specific workers for continuity and comfort.
Do you provide after-hours or overnight support?
Yes. We offer evening, sleepover, and active night shifts tailored to your assessed needs. Options include drop-in visits, on-call escalation, and 24/7 SIL coverage. We plan rosters with backup options for stability.
